KME-Kovatch Organization Holds Open House and Employee Appreciation Day

The KME-Kovatch Organization was visited by 3,000 guests on Saturday, July 10 at its open house and employee appreciation day. The event featured guided tours through its Pennsylvania headquarters with over 1,000,000 square feet of production area under roof. Highlights of the tour included a new 166,000 square foot central warehouse and distribution center that’s scheduled to be completely solar powered this summer, an all new paint booth for both parts and apparatus, significant capital improvements in many of the 13 plants, and several new pieces of manufacturing equipment. Over 24 customers brought their apparatus back to KME to show visitors the flexibility in designs and custom capability of the Company. Several key vendors also had displays that included hands on ultra high pressure demonstrations, 2010 engines, lighting systems and more.

Visitors were able to see clearly during the day that despite a challenging economy, the KME-Kovatch Organization continues to deliver not only dependable vehicles, but stability and longevity to the markets it serves.
