SKID UNITS

Our skid units are built with the same level of care as all of our full apparatus. With capacities up to 400 gallons of water, these units can be mounted on a KME apparatus or in your own pickup truck. Featuring stainless steel round plumbing and the availability of fire service valves, these modular pumping systems are a cut above the standard low dollar piece of equipment, and they are backed by the full strength of the KME service network, just like your larger units.

10 PERSON CREW CARRIER

Designed to meet the requirements of the US Forest Service, these crew carriers can get your crew to the scene safely in as much comfort as possible. Featuring all steel construction with seating for 8 in the crew area, plenty of storage is provided for both personal gear and the required tools of the job. When mounted on a Navistar chassis with an air ride suspension, these units are proven to exceed 30 degrees in a tilt-table test. The crew area is insulated with both heating and air conditioning and individual vinyl covered reclining seats. It even includes two cupholders in each location. And if you need to customize the unit for your specific mission, all you have to do is ask.

TACTICAL TENDERS

If you have to carry a lot of water into the backwoods, consider the KME tactical tender. We can work with you to mount the unit on the chassis of your choice with all wheel drive to get where you need to go. And when you get to the scene, not only can the unit haul the water, but with our Wildland pumping systems, you can start the attack. Available with capacities up to 1500 gallons on a single rear axle, and up to 3000 gallons on a tandem rear axle.
