HALE INTERFACE PUMPING SYSTEM

To meet the requirements in both the structural and wildland environments, a truck must be able to provide high volume stationary flow without sacrificing pump-and-roll. The specially designed interface pumping system provides a 1500 gpm NFPA rating, including a deck gun for your high flow requirements. But when you get in the cab and move the truck, you immediately have a pump-and-roll capability of 100 gpm @ 150 psi, enough for several forestry handlines and / or a remote controlled turret. And that flow will be maintained regardless of how fast the truck is moving. No more surging and lost performance as the truck moves along.

PLENTY OF STORAGE SPACE

Like all KME’s, this body is built tough. Featuring full-height rescue style compartments, this unit has 29” deep compartments with 200 cubic feet of enclosed storage in the side compartments alone. On the top of the body, there is room for a roof ladder, a folding ladder, an extension ladder, and hard suction hose – all readily accessible using convenient and safe access ladders that fold out of the way while on the move. All this ensures that when you show up on the scene, you have the tools ready to do the job.
OFFROAD OPTIONS

For the offroad side of this mission, this unit can be configured the way you need it. All units feature low preconnects directly accessible at the front of the body – which can be used for both structural preconnects and / or forestry lines. Hosereels may be mounted at the rear of the body or under the cab doors on a four door commercial cab. And for the ultimate in offroad attack, consider a front bumper mounted turret that can be fully controlled from inside the cab. Other options? What about ground sweeps, hard covers for the hosebed, or class A foam – if you need it, it’s available. And never forget the 23° angle of departure and 24” ground clearance on the body sides.
