KME offers a full line of elliptical tankers ranging from the simple water hauler with no pump, to the fully load tanker with a pump, pre-connects and hose storage areas. All tanks and apparatus are designed to exceed NFPA 1901 requirements; keeping firefighters safe is our top priority. Our Elliptical tanks utilize baffle designs that help ensure safe operations while driving the apparatus full, partial or empty of water. Tanks are designed to provide rapid filling and dumping of water.

BROAD RANGE OF TANKS

 

KME offers stainless steel tanks with a single wall brushed or painted and double wall mirror finishes; poly tanks with bare or painted, or mirror wrapped finishes; and fiberglass with color injected, painted or mirror wrapped finishes. Tank sizes range up to +4000 gallon on a tandem axle and 2300 gallons on a single axle.

KME elliptical bodies are custom engineered and fabricated in galvannealed steel, 3/16” aluminum, stainless steel, and treadplate and offer unrivaled compartment options. External, enclosed and through-tank options are available for suction hose, ladders and pike poles.

Manual, electric, and pneumatically controlled dumps that allow for rear tank, forward of the axle, behind the axle, and between the axles on tandems, as well as rear triple dump options.
