KME Airport Products Department offers a wide range of Airport apparatus including Class 4 and Class 5 units designed to serve the needs of airports all over the world. These trucks are built on a KME custom ARFF chassis and offer Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) body and cab configurations to meet the specific needs at your airport. Every airport apparatus we build is subjected to a wide array of required NFPA 414 and FAA testing all done at our facilities and available to be witnessed by our customers to insure reliability and confidence in the KME product you have chosen.

HIGH VISIBILITY CAB


KME FORCE
™ series cabs feature industry leading visibility that exceeds the requirements of NFPA 414. Seating for up to five (5) can be provided and 60,000 BTU heating and air conditioning system, a deluge system and sliding roof access hatch are all standard.
UNPARALLELED TESTING


KME maintains complete testing facilities on site at our Nesquehoning, PA world headquarters. From off road driving tests, to certified grades and tilt table tests, we insure that we meet or exceed all NFPA 414 and FAA requirements. Customers are always welcome to witness any or all tests, prior to delivery.
MAINTENANCE ACCESS

Removable access panels are provided at key areas in the body to allow maintenance access. KME FORCE
™ Series Class 4 and 5 vehicles also feature a hinged engine enclosure which allows virtually unrestricted access for maintenance functions. Our open through plumbing design allows complete access for pump and plumbing maintenance.
