CUSTOMIZATION
KME is true sole-source manufacturer, so customization is central in all we do. Each Predator
™ cab is built at our world headquarters location, customized to your specifications. Every cab and chassis begins with KME’s rugged substructure design and heavy duty frame rails. You can then choose from a wide range of engines (300 to 600HP), transmission, axles, suspension systems, and other major components. Next comes three cab choices and multiple options that account for 300 different configurations. Multiple seating options, cab storage compartments, ABS dash and doghouse, hardwire or multiplex wiring systems, and short or long doors are all custom options. The Predator is designed to fit your needs, whatever they are!
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
The Predator
™ was designed not only for fire ground personnel, but also for fleet and maintenance support operations. From the frame assembly up (which has a lifetime warranty), the chassis is engineered to stay in service. KME offers a large interior access door for fluid checks without tilting the cab. All electrical lines are encased in a protective loom and are color-and function coded. The center of the dash houses an easy access area for electrical system additions, service and diagnostics. The Predator
™ even offers remote programming via a simple phone line to add in new features or troubleshoot electrical repairs.
