Understanding the budgetary constraints of the fire service and the need for a safe and reliable chassis was the design template for the Panther™ chassis. This chassis was developed for the fire departments that want the benefits and numerous options available with a custom cab and chassis, but still have the need to deal with today’s tough economic conditions. Because we have designed this product with the same engineering, crash testing, and substructure of the KME Predator™ chassis, the Panther™ doesn’t “cut any corners” in safety or reliability!

™ is available in multiple configurations with various options to meet your needs.
ENGINES
With engines available from both Cummins and Maxxforce with HP ranging from 300 to 450HP your customer can have the most cost effective power that their budget will allow. The Maxxforce engine offers an excellent “torque curve” to power even the heaviest chassis GVWR while offering an emission solution that does not require any additional fluids or maintenance.
CAB STRUCTURE
Built on the same engineered and tested chassis as the Predator
™ , you can be assured of the high quality, cab crash tested, sole sourced manufactured cab that KME is proud to offer. The Panther
